Requirements for basic markings of rolled steel train wheels

At present, the basic markings of rolled steel train wheels are cold typed and engraved on the inner end face of the wheel hub. The character height is 9mm to 15mm, the character depth is not less than 0.2mm, and the characters are clear and complete; the distance from the bottom baseline of the font to the edge of the wheel hub hole is not less than 10mm.

 

For the early production of rolled steel train wheels, the basic markings of the train wheels are engraved on the outer surface of the rim. The distance from the bottom baseline of the marking font to the edge of the inner diameter of the rim is not more than 7mm, and it is ensured that the marking will not be worn off when the rim is worn to the limit; the basic markings of the wheels are engraved by hot pressing, and the depth of the markings does not exceed 4mm.
