Bogie Suspension
INTRODUCE :
A bogie suspension is an oscillating mechanical suspension with multiple leaf springs used in agriculture to suit tandem vehicles. Its main advantage is that the vehicle can travel on particularly rough terrain, thanks to a wide oscillating motion that adapts to the roughness of the ground.
Our Bogie Suspension:
Kingrail Parts bogies are available with two fixed axles or fixed and steered axles, ready to be mounted to the frame. According to the needs of customers, our bogies can also be supplied without assembly. Kingrail Parts can supply counter plates with bolts and nuts to secure the bogie to the frame. Our bogies are available in a normal arrangement (axle below the leaf spring) or a low profile (axle on top of the spring).
Bogie Assembly:
Proper installation of the bogie is important to ensure maximum reliability, duration and safety of all vehicle components. The vehicle manufacturer must align the bogie. The bogie axes must be parallel to each other and to the tractor. This ensures good vehicle control and longer tire life. The installer is solely responsible for any malfunction or damage to the bogie, axles, brakes or tires due to incorrect assembly of the bogie.
