INTRODUCE :
Side frames and bolsters are the two main components of a railway bogie. As the largest castings of the bogie, they are the most stressed parts. Therefore, the importance of the quality of these two components is beyond doubt.
As one of the main structural elements of the bogie frame, the side frames are usually fabricated by casting, with additional machining and riveting of wear-resistant plates. As the main component of the wagon bogie, the side frame transmits the load on the axle through the axle box.
The bolster is the bridge between the two side frames in the wagon bogie structure. Support is so important that we must ensure reliability and durability.
A bogie consists of two side frames, a bolster and two wheel sets.
