Kingrail Parts light rail brake pad compounds are manufactured with two premium friction material formulations designed for normal and high temperature applications. Each friction material consists of a semi-metallic substrate and has been thoroughly tested for excellent performance. Both friction materials are available in two pad configurations, with or without grooves, and in a variety of commonly used thicknesses.
SPECIFICATIONS :
KP275 is a high friction, molded liner material suitable for a wide range of speeds, contact pressures and temperatures. The KP275 is designed to provide reliable braking power at low pressures for high energy light rail transit applications.
KP350 is a medium friction molded lining material designed for low to medium duty light rail transit applications. Due to its lower nominal friction level, our KP350 has lower wear rates and noiseless braking characteristics.
